New Ducati Scrambler | Steve Hislop Tribute | Stoner rides again

MCN Title

Editor column

Ducati may be famous for its full-on sports bikes and racing pedigree but the Italian firm looks set to rekindle a classic. The new Ducati Scrambler, however, looks set to get a 796cc V-twin engine that will give it real presence.

MCN has garnered new details on the exciting new bike and have created a jaw-dropping image - see this week's paper.

We also pay tribute to the late, great Steve Hislop - who tragically died in a helicopter crash 10 years ago. We even managed to find one of his old Cadbury Boost Yamahas and rode it around Mallory Park.

But it was a far from simple exercise! Hizzy would not have been impressed by our lack of preparation. Find out how it went - or very nearly didn't.

And don't miss the FREE 24-page pullout dedicated to motorcycling missions. You can do a long one, a short one, a hard one or... a really hard one! We've teamed up with experts to highlight some of the very best ways to get your biking kicks. Don't miss it.

The MCN website is bristling with news and you need to read up on our first test of the Yamaha XV950 Bolt.

Casey Stoner is also back In the news with plans to test the Honda RCV. The Aussie hotshot is adamant that the ride will not lead to a full-on race comeback but the rumours are rife that a MotoGP wild card ride will follow. Get the lowdown.
