| We sent Editors Chris Denison and Adam Booth to the other side of the country to test the 2014 KTM XCF-W four-strokes and XC-W two-strokes. The model introduction was in conjunction with the Rattlesnake Enduro in Pennsylvania providing an excellent testing course. All of the bikes received upgrades but the most changes were seen on the 250 XCF-W. Not only did the quarter-liter bike get a new frame but a new engine as well. Click here for the full test, photos and video of the bikes! Radiant AirGroup Husaberg rider Nick Fahringer is a monster on a dirt bike. The AMA National Enduro Series contender kindly obliged when we asked to put a GoPro on the top of his helmet. He finished 2nd overall at the Pennsylvania National Enduro and you'll understand that this is no easy feat when you see how tight the trees are and how quickly one has to change directions. Click here to watch what racing is like from his perspective. The fifth round of the AMA Western Hare Scrambles took place in Elkton, OR and is known as the Funky Chicken even though it takes place on a cattle ranch. The Emerald Trail Riders' Association (ETRA) put together a fun and well-organized race and the course was laid out over some viciously steep terrain. With some endurocross-style logs to keep things interesting, the course claimed a few riders like this guy here. We've all done it, but maybe without the expertly shot photographic evidence! | | After years of stagnation, the KX 85 and KX 100 get serious upgrades across the board to stay competitive in the aggressive world of mini bike racing. And it's nice to see one of the Japanese Four investing R & D into two-stroke technology while others have let the kids bike market fall out of their developmental scope. The little green machines were piloted around Barona Oaks Raceway by two of our Mini Rider testers to bring you their real-world impressions. | While we fill our print magazine to the brim with off-road motorcycle content, the cool thing about a digital magazine is that they don't have to conform to page numbers. Therefore, it is packed with even more stats, mod lists, photos and extra content that just won't fit on the pages of our physical product. Check it out here. | | Follow Us | |
